HOW IT ALL STARTED
The inhabitants of the Schweizerhaus have been providing food and drink for visitors for more than 100 years. At first, however, there was no hotel & café, but a traditional dairy farm in this place. Then owner of the house, Anton Bergwanger, becomes a certified master craftsman for the production of milk and cheese products in 1936. Hereafter, the house is home to the cheese dairy of Wattersdorf for many years.
